Training exercises
Scenario: A cadre of police or fire specialists is undergoing field training at a mockup of a small town. Their instructors must monitor the activities of all participants in real time.
Individuals may frequently need to enter buildings and vehicles, a factor that rules out line-of-sight and outdoors-only solutions such as GPS.
Solution: Each participant carries a tag, and the necessary locators are deployed throughout the facility. The direction any participant is facing also can be determined.
